What Is Brainspotting?
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-based therapy that helps you access and release deeply held emotional pain, trauma, and unconscious patterns without needing to relive every detail.
Discovered by Dr. David Grand, Brainspotting works by identifying specific eye positions, or “brainspots,” that connect to areas in the brain where unprocessed experiences are stored. By focusing on these spots while staying present to your inner experience, your brain and body begin to naturally process and heal, often beyond what talk therapy can reach.
Brainspotting is effective for:
Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm
Trauma, grief, and PTSD
Performance blocks and creative struggles
Chronic stress and nervous system dysregulation
Feeling stuck, disconnected, or “off” without a clear reason
This method is gentle but deep, and you don’t have to talk the whole time. Instead, we create space for your brain and body to do the healing work at your own pace, and on your own terms.
I offer virtual sessions across Colorado & limited in person sessions in my home office to help clients move through emotional blocks, nervous system overwhelm, and patterns that talk therapy can’t always reach. Contact me now for your free 15 minute discovery call.
